At Learnistry, we are committed to providing high-quality education. However, we understand that sometimes a course may not meet your expectations. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds.

Please read this policy carefully before enrolling.


1. REFUND ELIGIBILITY

1.1. 2-Day Refund Window

You are eligible for a full refund if you request it within 2 days of the course start date (i.e., within 2 days of the first live class).

Example:

  • Course starts: November 10, 2025 (first live class)
  • Refund deadline: November 12, 2025, 11:59 PM IST

1.2. No Questions Asked

Within the 2-day window, refunds are provided with no questions asked. You do not need to provide a reason.

1.3. After 2 Days

After the 2-day window closes, no refunds are available, regardless of:

  • Attendance or participation
  • Course progress or completion
  • Personal circumstances
  • Dissatisfaction with content

2. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND

2.1. Refund Request Process:

To request a refund, you must:

  1. Email us at: info@learnistry.academy
  2. Include the following information:
    • Your full name
    • Email address used for enrollment
    • Course name
    • Date of enrollment
    • Payment transaction ID (if available)
    • Subject line: “Refund Request – [Your Name]”

2.2. Deadline:

Refund requests must be received via email before the 2-day deadline (based on IST time zone).

2.3. Confirmation:

We will acknowledge your refund request within 24 hours and confirm eligibility.


3. REFUND PROCESSING

3.1. Processing Time:

  • Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days of approval
  • The time for funds to appear in your account depends on your payment provider:
    • PayPal: 3-5 business days
    • Credit/Debit card: 5-10 business days
    • Bank transfer: 7-10 business days

3.2. Refund Method:

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for enrollment:

  • If you paid via PayPal, the refund goes to your PayPal account
  • If you paid via credit/debit card, the refund goes to that card
  • If you paid via bank transfer, we will arrange a direct bank refund

3.3. Refund Amount:

The refund amount may be less than the original payment due to transaction fees (see Section 4).


4. TRANSACTION FEES

4.1. Deduction of Transaction Fees:

IMPORTANT: If any payment processing fees or transaction fees were charged during your original payment, these fees will be deducted from your refund amount and are your responsibility.

Example:

  • You paid: $149 USD
  • Payment processing fee: $5 USD (charged by PayPal/Razorpay)
  • Refund you receive: $144 USD

4.2. Why Fees Are Deducted:

Payment processors (PayPal, Razorpay, Stripe, etc.) charge us fees for processing transactions. When we issue a refund, these fees are not returned to us. Therefore, we must deduct them from your refund.

4.3. Currency Conversion Fees:

If you paid in a currency other than USD:

  • Currency conversion fees charged by your bank or payment provider are non-refundable
  • The refund amount may differ slightly from your original payment due to exchange rate fluctuations

4.4. No Additional Fees:

We do not charge any additional fees for processing refunds beyond the deduction of third-party transaction fees.


5. NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS

5.1. The Following Are Not Refundable:

  • Course materials already downloaded or accessed
  • Recorded classes already viewed
  • Consultation calls already completed
  • Payment processing fees (as described in Section 4)
  • Courses completed or partially completed beyond the 2-day window

5.2. Bundle Courses:

If you enrolled in a bundle (multiple courses):

  • Refunds for bundles must be requested within 2 days of the FIRST course start date
  • If you attend more than 2 days of any course in the bundle, no refund is available
  • Partial refunds (for individual courses within a bundle) are not available

6. SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES

6.1. Course Cancellation by Learnistry:

If we cancel a course due to:

  • Insufficient enrollment
  • Instructor unavailability
  • Technical issues
  • Other unforeseen circumstances

You will receive a full refund (including all transaction fees) OR credit toward a future course.

6.2. Postponement by Learnistry:

If we postpone a course:

  • You may request a full refund
  • OR transfer your enrollment to the new course date
  • OR receive credit toward a different course

6.3. Medical or Emergency Situations:

If you cannot attend due to a medical emergency or unforeseen personal crisis:

  • Contact us immediately at info@learnistry.academy
  • We will review your situation on a case-by-case basis
  • We may offer credit toward a future course (instead of a refund)
  • Documentation may be required

6.4. Technical Issues:

If you experience technical issues that prevent you from attending:

  • Your technical issues (internet, device problems) are not grounds for refunds
  • Our technical issues (platform failure, instructor unavailability) will result in rescheduled classes or refunds

7. CHARGEBACKS

7.1. No Chargebacks:

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or credit card company without first requesting a refund through our official process, we reserve the right to:

  • Suspend your course access immediately
  • Ban you from future enrollments
  • Pursue legal action if applicable

7.2. Dispute Resolution:

If you have an issue with your enrollment or payment, please contact us first at hello@learnistry.academy. We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and quickly.


8. PAYMENT PLAN REFUNDS

8.1. If You Are on a Payment Plan (Installments):

  • Refunds are only available for installments already paid
  • Future installments are automatically canceled
  • If you request a refund after making 2+ installments, the refund applies only to the most recent payment (subject to the 2-day policy)

Example:

  • You paid installment 1 ($75) on Nov 1
  • You paid installment 2 ($75) on Nov 10 (course start)
  • You request refund on Nov 11 (within 2 days)
  • You are eligible for refund of BOTH installments (minus transaction fees)

Example 2:

  • You paid installment 1 ($75) on Nov 1
  • Course starts Nov 10
  • You request refund on Nov 13 (after 2 days)
  • No refund available (beyond 2-day window from course start)

9. PROMOTIONAL DISCOUNTS

9.1. Refunds on Discounted Courses:

If you enrolled using a promotional discount or coupon:

  • The refund amount is based on the discounted price you paid
  • Not the original full price

10. DENIED REFUND REQUESTS

10.1. Refunds Will Be Denied If:

  • Request is made after the 2-day window
  • You have attended more than 2 days of classes
  • You have completed the course
  • You have accessed/downloaded significant course materials
  • You previously received a refund for another course (abuse prevention)

10.2. Appeals:

If your refund request is denied and you believe it was in error, you may appeal by:

  • Sending a detailed explanation to hello@learnistry.academy
  • Providing any supporting documentation
  • We will review appeals within 7 business days

11. CHANGES TO REFUND POLICY

11.1. Policy Updates:

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time.

11.2. Effective Date:

Changes apply to enrollments made after the updated policy is posted.

11.3. Your Enrollment Terms:

The Refund Policy in effect at the time of your enrollment applies to your course (not future changes).
